Materials Needed: Small size (using jelly roll strips) 44" diameter 27 pre-cut 2 1/2" strips 2- 1/4 yards backing fabric 1/2 yard binding fabric Small size (wider strip option) 43" diameter 1/2 yard each of 5 assorted prints 2- 1/4 yards backing fabric 1/2 yard binding fabric Medium size (using jelly roll strips) 49" diameter 30 pre-cut 2 1/2" strips 2- 3/4 yards backing fabric 1/2 yard binding fabric Medium size (wider strip option) 51" diameter 1/2 yard each of 6 assorted prints 2- 3/4 yards backing fabric 1/2 yard binding fabric Large size (using jelly roll strips) 58" diameter 36 pre-cut 2 1/2" strips 3- 1/2 yards backing fabric 2/3 yards binding fabric Large size (wider strip option) 59" diameter 1/2 yard each of 7 assorted prints 3- 1/2 yards backing fabric 2/3 yards binding fabric All sizes also will need: thin batting 2 yards of 3/8" grosgrain ribbon for ties (optional) cutting mat, rotary cutter and a ruler w/ 60 degree marking Small size is best for 4- 1/2 to 6- 1/2 foot tall trees Medium size is best for 7 to 7 -1/2 foot tall trees Large size is best for 9 foot tall trees This quilted tree skirt pattern is written in the same format as a quilt pattern. Measurements, instructions and diagrams are given for cutting and piecing the fabric. No templates or pattern "pieces" are included in the pattern as is common with most clothing patterns.
