1979 Aria Pro II TSB-650 Tri-Sound Series Neckthrough Bass (Natural)

Japanese made in 1979, t hese are some of the coolest basses to come out of the Matsumoku factory. The TSB-650 features an absolutely stunning ash body with a maple/walnut “transmit” neck and a 22 fret rosewood fretboard (820mm scale length) with diamond inlays. Two original MB-III pickups, concentric volume/tone knobs for each pickup and individual “dual sound switches”, this one weighs 3.9kg’s. Good used condition with a few light bumps and dings as pictured, some light scratches and play-wear on the neck and body. Restrung and given a basic setup/service prior to listing including a truss adjustment and fret polish. There’s some finish missing on the back of the neck that was buffed back and feels smooth with no jagged edges that impact on playing.
