4.0 out of 5 stars Baggy in the arms, tight in the chest So this worked for my Goalkeeper, but my player is 8 years old and very petite / thin. The arms are very baggy, not as much the length (they are a little long, but with goalie gloves it won’t matter) but actually the width of the arms especially in relation to the body section. That was “almost” too tight and confirms what others said about the sizing being a bit odd. I would only be concerned if your child is not thin – and I mean ribs, muscles show with shirt off thin. The material itself is very thin which is okay since it’s often worn over the game jersey. The padding is adequate and perfectly placed in the arms. I liked the fact that the chest was padded, but it’s really more sternum to midsection, but I could tell he felt it would provide some added protection, resulting in confidence. 4 people found this helpful
