I’ve been holding onto this for about a month, waiting for my mom’s birthday. She’s always wanted a genuine leather bag but, as mothers often do, wouldn’t buy it for herself. So finally I can review based on my mother’s experience. The quality here is top-notch. Leather is a good thickness but also has a lot of softness. It feels like it’ll hold up for a long time. The stitching is perfect with not a stitch out of place. The handles have a nice thickness to them, and my mother found it comfortable to wear on her shoulder. The strap is a good width, so it’s neither too wide nor too narrow as to be uncomfortable. The bag itself is the perfect size for her. It’s big enough to put everything she needs inside but still enough free space, so it’s never packed. The lining is really nice quality. With a reassuring thickness and a soft, luxurious touch. All zips are high quality and move smoothly and with ease. The outer and inner zipped pockets have ample space. She was very happy to discover the 2 pouches inside which allow for some very nice compartmentalisation. To quote my mother “this is the best handbag I’ve ever owned”. It’s already her prized possession and has its own shelf in her cupboard. It was nice to see her joyfully packing stuff into it. A truly excellent product at a reasonable price.
