Generally speaking, a classical-electric guitar is another form of classical guitar that is mixed with electronic equipment (built-in preamp) to deliver the guitar tone via amplifiers or speakers to the audience. The Genesis GCL-204SE is an upgraded model of the previous regular model – GCL-204S – with additional Pickup and Built-in Preamp. The Piezo under-saddle pickup is a very highly sensitive transducer-style pickup, it is securely installed beneath the guitar’s bridge and connected to the preamp. The Genesis GCL-204SE also implemented the KLT-17A as the built-in preamp which has a complete control system with the Digital Chromatic Tuner, 3 band Active EQ, Phase Inverter switch to avoid feedback, and Battery indicator included. In the body, much like its sibling – the GCL-204S – the GCL-204SE also comes in a full-size standard classical guitar body with the Spruce tonewood on Top giving the bright tone characteristic and Poplar on the back & sides for more defined notes.
