1970’s Audition Japan Violin Beatle Bass (Sunburst)
$ 96.59
Made in Japan in the 1970’s, this Beatle Bass is a surprisingly high end model not usually seen with the Audition branding. With a spruce/sycamore hollow body and a set maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs just 2.5kg’s. Loaded with a pair of Japanese bass humbuckers and traditional Hofner style controls/wiring, this one appears to be all original. Good overall vintage condition as pictured with light cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. The neck was adjusted along with a fretboard oil and fret polish prior to a basic setup, it plays well with a functional truss and straight neck.
